Technical and IT Support pricing
Minor software issues
Computers with small or minor software issues are normally covered by our standard workshop rate of £34.99, this includes a diagnostic of the machine plus an hour with an engineer working on the problem.
Severe software issues
If your machine has severe issues such as a corrupt Windows installation, spyware, or virus infection then we might need longer to rectify any problems. You'll first be charged our standard workshop rate of £34.99 which includes a diagnostic of the machine plus an hour with an engineer, however if we need to spend more than one hour working with your machine there will be a fee of £20 per additional hour. If the cost of the repair is estimated to be over £50 we will always contact you for authorisation before proceeding with the repair.
Hardware issues
If you suspect a hardware fault is the cause of your problems then we will be happy to take a look over your machine for you. The standard workshop rate of £34.99 will be due when your machine is checked in. We will then provide you with a quote of whats wrong and what needs doing to get your machine back to speed. Your inital £34.99 will be deducted from the cost of the final bill.
Annual checkup
Keeping your PC in perfect condition is tim consuimg and confusing which is why we can run a full health check and diagnostic every year that will keep your machine running smoothly. For this service we charge just the standard workshop rate of £34.99, for that you'll get:
- Windows update
- Removal of any spyware, malware, or viruses
- Removal of unused system files that might have an adverse affect on performance
- Registry update and defrag
- General maintainance that will usually increase performance by up to 50%
Computer upgrades
We will install and test any memory you have bought elsewhere in a desktop or laptop for just £9.99, if you want us to supply the memory we will provide you with a list of options you can chose from.
We will install and test any other hardware into your desktop at a flat rate of £15.00 per device, this includes things like hard drives, graphics cards, tv tuners etc.
If you would like us to build you a machine from scratch we can do this for th standard workshop rate of £34.99 plus the cost of the hardware required to build to your specification. If you let us know what you want to pay we can price up a few different options for you to choose from.
